Privacy Policy

The short version

Teleprompter doesn't collect, store or share your personal data. There's no account, no analytics and no advertising, and the app doesn't send anything over the internet.

Your scripts

Scripts you write or paste are saved only on your device. Like other app data, they're included in your device backups if you use them.

Camera and microphone

The app uses the camera and microphone only while you're in Record mode, to film your take. Nothing is streamed or uploaded.

Your recordings

Each take is saved to your Photos library. If you don't allow Photos access, the video is saved to the app's folder in the Files app instead. Either way, it stays on your device unless you share it.

Video effects

Background, Portrait blur and Studio Light are Apple's own camera effects, turned on by you in Control Center and applied by iOS on your device.
